Colombia is the 26th largest country in the world and the fourth in South America, its geographical position is a privilege, it has two coasts and is located in the middle of the American continent, thanks to this there is a great variety of climates and ecosystems that make unique.

The restaurant Con tradicion is the result of travel, gastronomic experiences and cultures throughout the Colombian territory, it is a commitment to Colombian signature cuisine but with a Creole essence. Sitting at the table in tradition is being able to eat a little piece of Colombia in a house in Marinilla, Antioquia

Sergio Botero

Chef Sergio Botero has established himself as one of the best exponents of Colombian signature cuisine and research. He is currently the chef of the restaurant with tradition, the best Colombian cuisine restaurant of 2022 according to La Barra magazine, he works on the development of the first Colombian signature rum together with ron gobernador, he is frequently invited to hold Colombian cuisine festivals around the world .

Our Kitchen

Our cuisine is inspired by the different recipes, preparations, techniques and products from each of the corners of Colombia… we are a restaurant with signature Colombian cuisine, but 100% Creole essence.

Craft Drinks

Our drinks are part of the Colombian gastronomic recipe book. It is a tour of the different ancestral, ceremonial and religious drinks of the different regions of our country, you can try drinks such as churro from La Guajira, ñeque from San Basilio from Palenque, Chirrinchi from the Caribbean savannah, hook ball from Ocaña Santander, grass chapil, Chuchuwasa from the Amazon, tapetusa from eastern Antioquia, candela from Santa Fe de Antioquia (drink declared intangible heritage of humanity), viche or biche and its derivatives such as tomaseca, cured viche, arrechon tumbacatre viche cream.

Our chef has selected around 100 wine references from different regions of the world, always with the criteria of having an honest, accurate wine selection that tells stories, that in addition to wine we can learn from its territory, from the wisdom that lies behind it. every bottle, and following the old adage that the most expensive wine is not always the best.

You will be able to enjoy a nine-course tasting menu where our chef Sergio Botero will take a tour of Colombia, its traditions, cultures, miscegenation and curious facts about our region through each of the dishes that you will taste there.

Espectacular! La atención es excelente. Los platos tienen una presentacion y sabor inmejorables. El ambiente es tradicional, pero elegante.
Bueno, pero puede mejorar En general, el servicio y el lugar excelente. Pero pues soy AMANTE DE LA BUENA GASTRONOMIA y tengo que criticar los platos que consumí. La causa: su contenido estuvo bueno pero la sensibilidad de la papa era seca y muy compacta, tal vez lo refrigeraron mucho que sé yo. Pero la densidad de la papá y su humedad no estaban bien. El sabor estaba respetable.
